Neopharmed Gentili donates 100.000 packages of essential medicine to the population affected by the crisis in Ukraine

This initiative, which has been organized in collaboration with the Milan Red Cross, also includes a fundraiser for the purchase of relief goods.

Milan, 17 Match 2022 – Neopharmed Gentili is supporting the fundraising and medicine collection efforts undertaken by the Milan Red Cross to help address the ongoing humanitarian and health crisis in Ukraine. The Italian pharmaceutical company is donating approximately 100,000 packages of essential medication, ranging from antibiotics to painkillers (Amoxicillin trihydrate, Ceftriaxone, and Tramadol hydrochloride), in keeping with the needs of the Ukraine Red Cross to respond to the healthcare requirements of the population hit by the conflict, amidst a situation that is made all the more critical due to the unrelenting Covid-19 pandemic.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Milan Red Cross, all medications will be collected and shipped to Ukraine starting next week.

“As an established member of the Italian pharmaceutical community, we wanted to extend a meaningful gesture of solidarity as a way of expressing our sympathy and support to the people affected by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine”, remarks Alessandro Del Bono, CEO of Neopharmed Gentili. “An initiative for which we immediately mobilized, in complete harmony with the volunteers present in the field, resulting in the immediate shipment of essential medical supplies to those who now find themselves in a condition of extreme human and medical hardship, using the channels established by the Red Cross”.
