Over the course of 2023, Neopharmed Gentili expanded the international distribution of Antrolin and, thanks to an agreement with Maruishi, began the distribution of Evamyl (Lormetazepam) within Japan.

The expansion into more markets continues with the acquisition of Bayer’s product portfolio for products based on Lormetazepam for Italy and Japan, followed by the acquisition of Valeas, a key Italian player with a focus on pediatrics. We close the year with the renewal of the Ardian partnership and the onboarding of a new partner: NB Renaissance.

Thanks to the agreement signed with MSD, Neopharmed Gentili secures the rights to commercialize Moduretic and full global rights to do the same with Antrolin within the same year.

Neopharmed Gentili acquires MDM, a pharmaceutical company with a focus on neurological and orthopedic applications.

Ardian acquires a majority stake in Neopharmed Gentili. The Del Bono family remains at the helm, now retaining a minority stake in the company. Alessandro Del Bono is confirmed as CEO.

Neopharmed Gentili signs a partnership for the promotion and development of three respiratory disease treatments. In the same year, the company acquires Therabel’s Italian branch, along with its product catalog.

Istituto Gentili and Neopharmed merge into a single entity to form Neopharmed Gentili.

Under the guidance and leadership of Alessandro Del Bono, and thanks to the close collaboration with Merck, the company continues its expansion through two major key acquisitions. Istituto Gentili, focused on orthopedics and respiratory disease treatments, and Istituto Gentili, specializing in cardiology, become a part of Mediolanum Farmaceutici.
